Director of Human Resources

I came to FFD in a dual role as the Director of Human Resources and an Accounting Assoicate. While I’m new to the HR role I’m eager to learn and build my position here at FFD. For the accounting piece, I bring a background in governmental accounting and some audit experience. I have been employed by FFD since November 2024. Prior to joining FFD I was the accountant for Rio Grande/Mineral County Department of Social Services for 14 years.

WHAT IS YOUR FAMILY LIKE?

I have a 7 year old daughter who is a 3RD grader at Sargent Elementary.

WHAT DID YOU STUDY IN SCHOOL?

… I got my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Emphsis is Accounting from Adams State University back when it was still ASC. I’m currently studying at the University of Phoenix while working on my Graduate Human Resources Certificate.

YOUR IDEAL DAY OFF ACTIVITY

)? My ideal day off would be just hanging out and laughing with my daughter.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?

This is a close tie between public speaking or heights/falling.
