I bring experience and insight from a warehouse perspective. With this perspective I am hoping we as a team can provide an even better outcome for current and future customers. At Farm Fresh I support my team by handling smaller tasks and details that help us stay on top of daily tasks which allow my team to focus on higher-priority responsibilities.
Weirdest job?
At 16 I took a summer PA job at my high school and quickly learned that teachers weren't so different. I found it weird because as a kid I always saw teachers and assumed they had their lives together and had the answers to everything. Turns out we all have boy problems and hate going to school.
If you were to die and come back, what would you be?
I would love to come back as a jellyfish, they lack a conscious (they rely on their nerve net to sense their surroundings). They're not good swimmers, which is something we have in common. They can also regenerate body parts.
Who are your heroes in real life?
My mother, she taught me that even with limited resources we can make it happen. She guided me to be very independent and to always think of what's best for myself. Drilled us to be very ambitious but to always enjoy the basic things in life. She led me to understand that we all are our own person and we all have different experiences which we approach in very diverse ways.
Greatest living or passed person you most admire?
I admire Plato, he was one of the founding fathers of philosophy. He believed that “knowledge was the food of the soul.” I feel like he really opened the idea to question “why” on things we do on a daily basis without thought.
How would you describe yourself besides what you do for a living?
I would consider myself an introverted person. My social battery tends to run out quickly especially during social events. I like to read a lot, especially about psychology and philosophy. I enjoy learning new things. I especially like hearing from the older generation and how they navigated through life.
